Mammoth Night 1 August 28th

Well..............We're here!!!!!!!!

I was pretty whipped from an eventful week, so I actually slept in this morning until 10am! Then did some work from home, even picked up a new account I have been trying to get for a long time, so I was pretty stoked to leave with some new bus in my pocket!
I was to meet Charlotte at her pad at around 2:30pm, so I packed up the car, said my goodbye to Jamis (yes, I left him at home this time and just brought the stumpy, and took off. He promised that Stumpy would take good care of me this trip!)

We got on the road just before 3pm and ran into Huck, Norm and Bob at various gas stations and pit stops. Then we met up a the usual, Angels for dinner in Mammoth.

So I haven't stayed in this condo before and it is right next to the village this time, very cool! I am bunking with Charlotte, Brett and Miyuki. I am in the loft by myself, but I have my own bathroom and tons of privacy so that is good. Just no tv! How am I going to go to sleep????????!!!!!!!!!! Well, the ipod is on, I have 2 night lights on, so I am hoping I can get some sleep. Just need a little city noise and I will feel right at home!

So tomorrow, it is just the usuals meeting to ride the mountain: Me, Charlotte, Brett, Miyuki, Huck, Norm and Dennis.(newbie to our clan...welcome!) Saturday and Sunday the rest of the clan is coming up. I think we are up to 18 people now! So, can't wait to get some awesome footage! We are going to squeeze in a hike too and check out the natural hot springs.

Well dahlings, no scandal to report so far, just a lovely evening with good people like it should be. How lucky am I? You have no idea! Until the blog tomorrow evening...be fabulous dahlings! I will try and post a few pics via NR and or email as well.
